Óbidos

Cycle around Portugal´s most famous Medieval Town, a charming historic village. Take 30 minutes to ride the backroads around the castle or ride the many trails, hills and paved roads around this beautiful region.

Caldas da Rainha

“Caldas” is known for its amazing natural thermal pools, which centuries ago cured Queen Rainha Dona Leonor, giving the city its name. Ride around town and visit the most ancient Thermal Hospital in the world, Dom Carlos Park and check out the stunning views of Óbidos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean in Foz do Arelho.

ÓBIDOS LAGOON

Beautiful 15km+ trail, fun and easy, with lots of nature and places to go swimming. Ride to/from the castle and enjoy the breath-taking castle views.

CALDAS DA RAINHA & FOZ DO ARELHO

If you´re staying near Caldas da Rainha, don´t miss the chance to cycle down to Foz do Arelho Beach, 8km each way of bike path, that connects to Óbidos Lagoon bike trail.

ÓBIDOS CASTLE LOOP

If your stay is short, but you want to have a fun and easy ride, take the Castle Loop and see Óbidos Walls from all angles from the outside. It´s even more special at sun set.

ÓBIDOS TRAILS

If you like mountain biking, then come check out the various types of MTB trails available in our region. Follow marked paths and ride fun trails in between the Lagoon and the Castle.
